Lakelove is the story of our youth. It’s a story of love of the lake, freedom and the beginning of a new chapter in life. We spent summer days at this lake, which we called the clay pond because its earth coloured our feet black. Dreaming in the water, a day without end, a bit of chaos, some melancholy and a good song - time stands still. It is the perfect summer.
Chris is an artist who exhibits paintings and drawings made both digitally and on paper in more traditional media. Chris’ work attempts to simplify and reduce the world around him, often to colored dots and non-pictorial shapes. Experimenting with composition is a large part of Chris’ process and his affinity for playing with different components. That's one of the reasons why he prefers simple geometrics and basic imagery.
